Would it work in Scotland?

I think we would be a pretty hungry lot if we just bought the available local produce, although strangely enough we might have a well known French smell about us thanks to

We should be OK for pies and whisky cakes from http://www.ashersbakery.f9.co.uk/
If you were looking for something to wash down your cake you could always try http://www.scotchwhisky.net/distilleries/royal_brackla.htm
Epicurus in Leopold Street do sometimes stock local free range organic eggs, and Ramages a few doors away have been known to sell local dirty carrots
Not satisfied with Ashers you can buy more pies from the shop on the Brae
All in all a healthy balanced diet of local food then?
