A new film festival, which Oscar-winning actor Tilda Swinton is founding in her hometown of Nairn, north-east Scotland, is to have no red carpets, no ranks of paparazzi and no designer evening dresses. Entry to the films will cost you £3 or a tray of home-baked cakes; and the audience will sit on beanbags.' So says the Guardian .
'Three movies a day for the 8 1/2 days, from 15th' – 23rd August 2008. It seems a pity that Ronnie Watsons, The Fruit shop just across the road from the Ballerina will have been closed for nearly a fortnight as the film festival gets under way. Maybe someone could step in with an imaginative idea that would fill up (just for a while) what will indeed be a sad empty space.
There might be some kind of synchronicity here. If If Ronnie and Alan couldn't become characters in a Coen Brothers movie, then nobody could.

Grants Garage, Ronnie & Alan, the mini on the wall, getting your light bulbs tested in Pat Frasers, the Elvis lives guy who hangs out in the Bermuda Triangle, an Oscar winning actress etc etc....
