Your other Royal Burgh has 'Christmas' lights

Thanks to an alert Gurnite we now can tell you how Tain managed to keep Christmas lights without getting PC about it:

'There had been circulated Report No. RES/146/09 dated 22 September, 2009 by the Corporate Manager, Caithness Sutherland & Easter Ross, which sought approval of a grant from Tain Common Good fund for the purchase of replacement Christmas street lighting in Tain. The Committee APPROVED an allocation of a maximum of £29,000 for new Christmas Lights in Tain.'
Full details here and here no need to surrender to PC Euro directives in Tain.
