Confused? So are the professionals but don't worry it's only an public inquiry!

Iain Ramage reports on the inquiry muddle for the P&J.

'A public inquiry into a massive housing proposal for Nairn got under way yesterday, despite major confusion about a masterplan which Highland councillors rejected last May.
The start of the appeal was bogged down by more than an hour of unresolved debate about the detail of developer Deveron Highland’s vision, amid objectors’ claims that a revised version of the £100million project was not fully consulted on.
To the frustration of campaigners concerned about the scale of the proposed residential, retail and tourism scheme, Scottish Government reporter Malcolm Mahony decided to press on, saying they could register their grievances later in evidence.'
