Police appeal following two vehicle thefts in Nairn in last week

Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to reports of two vehicle thefts in the Nairn area in the last week.
The first incident was reported to have happened sometime between 11:00 and 16:30 hours on Friday 01 November 2013 whereby a silver/grey Renault Modus, registration number NV08 JB0, was taken from outside a house in Moss-side, Nairn. In addition, jewellery and cash were taken from within the property.

Between 11:30 and 12:00 hours yesterday (06 November 2013) an indigo blue Landrover Discovery, registration number R777 0DY, was removed from outside a property in Househill, Nairn. Police are keen to speak to a man described as being in his early 20's, of 5'5” in height, with facial stubble wearing a dark blue hooded top, woollen hat and white trainers, who was seen in the area around the time of the incident and may have information.

Police are carrying out enquiries into both incidents, which may be linked.
