Yes campaign activists report very positive reaction on Nairn High Street

The Yes Campaign told the Gurn that they'd had a very productive time on the High Street today. One wee problem however, a unionist seagull sitting on the top of the lampost above the information table made its own contribution to the debate in the time honoured way according to one of the activists.

That seagull was the wisest one there.

"On Wednesday, on STV's flagship current affairs programme, Scotland Tonight, we were also treated to the delights of a live autopsy. This was performed by Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland's deputy first minister, on the carcass of Alistair Carmichael, recently appointed Scottish secretary. In doing so, Ms Sturgeon also eviscerated the entire Better Together campaign by exposing and then bludgeoning the area where it is weakest: its abject inability to produce anything that speaks of aspiration or hope or improvement if Scotland were to remain in the union."

If the Yes campaign wins will Alec Salmond become the President or King of Scotland?

10.42 Anon - Silly question. A better one might be - Can you guarantee that we will not have a Tory-UKIP Coalition at Westminster - with Farage as Depute PM?
The best decisions for Scotland should be made in Scotland.

It wasn't the UKIP who blew over a £billion on a failed tram system for Edinburgh, or 10 years transport budget for a new bridge to Edinburgh that wasn't needed, or filled Nairn with traffic lights.
