Disappointment returns for County - Buckie 2 Nairn 0

After the midweek success at Wick, worried County fans were hoping that the club had turned the corner. It was not to be though and now the club have only 3 points from their opening 5 matches.

I said it on The Gurn just a few weeks ago after another poor performance from The County but it surely now must be time that The Narden Boys defrost The Fridge before the supporters go off !

  3. There's still the Scottish Cup game away against Deveronvale on September the 13th lol - even if prospects for the league look bad just now. Princess Royal Park is a hard place to go to at any time. Deveronvale can play some amazing stuff on their home park but currently they are only three places above us in the league lol.
Perhaps we can do it and then it will be a big day out down to the likes of Presontpans, Linlightgow etc, etc. Que sera, sera...

Dear, dear Mr Graisg, your spelling is (like Nairn County) a wee bit off. Suggest you check the spelling of Prestonpans and Linlithgow? And we don't want to hear any excuses from you about 'missing players' and such like.

  5. Apologies anon - it was getting a bit late and Stellafied - will try and provide a better spelling service when it comes to Scottish Cup dreams in future.

  6. To other anons calling for the head of Les etc.
Sorry one cheeky pop per week is enough on soccer threads - it's a small club community and it's real peoples lives we're dealing with so go easy please.
Anyway regardless of the performance on the pitch lets look forward to the fans event on Satuday September the 20th at the harbour and the Links - that'll be about the bigger picture, the history and a moment that will contribute to the memories of the next 100 years.
