Christmas begins on the riverside too - thanks to Murd and James

Once again it is that time of the year when a bit of colour appears on the festive riverside walks. Also a cameo appearance by Michael. Individual images here. Full screen slideshow here.

Thanks to the Gurn for your post.
May I answer two questions already asked about the trees.
1 The reason for two is not to show off but as your readers will know the Firhall Bridge is not accessible for the disabled and they were disappointed at being left out hence the reason for two
2 The white bird on top of one of the trees with a poppy on it is for all those who gave there lives for us that can enjoy the beauty of life
I would also like Wish you and Mrs Gurn and all your readers no matter where in the world they are
ALL THE VERY BEST FOR THE YEARS TO COME MURD

I can see a business opportunity here for our erstwhile tree dressers. Apparently there are several trees in Nairn that could benefit from the application of a small box of decorations.

I understand there's also just one delivery driver available for early morning drop offs on Christmas day and he could desperately do with a hand this year

    Any takers?
