Occasionally a shop is refitted and as part of that a guady plastic fascia will come down and for a brief moment you will get a glimpse of how things used to be; of the days when you didn't need to go to Inverness if you wanted something a bit unusual. Those days are gone now, and in the past they must remain?

A real legend (Rose Brothers) rising again for a short time on the back of - 'if we revamp our shoe shop you will buy more' ?
Just as the seagull once enjoyed food from the sea we now (the majority) drive through to the major supermarkets and avoid Nairn high street.
Parking should be fun when the new towns appear, and maybe by that time folk will be buying their shoes from something called 'The Internet'?
