a picture of Pam Bochel in yesterday's Press & Journal. Pam works at the wholefood co-operative in Inverness. It's a real co-op or at least one could say it is a lot different from the uncaring chain-store creature that dominates Nairn.
A few years ago this observer used to shop there when in Inverness but found the staff unhelpful. The final straw was when being told bluntly that something wasn't available. I stood there waiting for some more information about when it would be in or words of sympathy etc. Nothing was forthcoming.

'Well I'll just go somewhere where I can get some then,' I said and haven't been back since.
Maybe I should make the effort once more because I'm sure Pam would be a lot more helpful in a similar situation.
