Autumn rather late: Foghar caran anmoch



November tomorrow and see how much greenery there is still around. I suppose in a couple of years autumn won't come until christmas. The gales inflicted serious damage and one or two old friends didn't come out of it too well. A shame to see them go. A red squirrel was still busy along by Firhall.

It felt winter today e.g. cold northerly winds and the first snows on the mountains. But yes, seasons getting pushed back, I was comfortable outside in a t-shirt in the first half of the week. Maybe there really is something in this global warming?
