Latha nan Geamaichean Gaidhealach Inbhir Narann - Games Day nairn 2016 - early morning pictures

A very wet night and a misty start to the day in Nairn. The rising sun soon started to break it up though and things are looking good. Off sure an oil rig mirrored some of the showie structures and one of the "Petro" tankers is off Nairn again and one or two other boats to give a bit of depth to the fabulous sea and mountain scapes we all know so well. Have a great one Gurnshire, maybe see you down there later.

A few pictures from around 6.45 below, individual pictures here.

And a short video

Sub editors are good - 'off sure'

Absolutely fantastic day today, lots of people having picnics and catching up with old friends - a proper Games day.

Pleased to say all the weather forecasts were wrong and we had a fine games day. There seemed to be a lack of volunteers this year, no Air cadets guiding the parking and collecting donations plus a lack of buckets in the arena. Next year I'll put my name forward as a volunteer, I hope others do to
