Lochloy junction without traffic lights

The scene just after 0900 am this morning, with traffic moving reasonably well but no good at all if you are a pedestrian and wishing to cross the A96. Something else to add to the long list of problems that have occurred with this infamous set of lights.

It worked perfectly, nothing a zebra crossing wouldn't sort further up the road, might make people slow down a little instead of jumping the lights.

Leave them switched off I say!!!

Did ask the Siemens chap (politely) this morning not to turn them back on.

Plenty of drivers in Nairn don't seem to know how traffic lights work anyway.
