I can understand the Nairn allotments looking for grants for capital projects such as these new plots, but why do they carry out the likes of bag packing? I would have thought that was more appropriate for deserving charities looking to raise money from the community such as the RNLI etc

No harm in asking said...

I'm sure if other charities approached the stores they would be given the opportunity to raise funds?

I believe that both Sainsbury's and the Co-op have a number of slots available for organisations and charities that wish to raise funds. Indeed no harm in asking

I hate the bag packing at the supermarkets with a vengeance. Somehow without bag packers I don't manage to put eggs in the bottom of the bag alongside biscuits and then pile the tins on top.
Please think of useful ways to collect money, tidy flower beds or collect litter from the beach. Just don't pack my bags!
