Almost every neighbour came out to meet me in Househill Rd, Nairn today to discuss their road safety concerns pic.twitter.com/AMQGcsXuRB

Traffic lights for Househill then?
Maybe a footpath so residents can get to the Grantown Rd one safely anon and some action on the speeding. Again this is another instance of our local infrastructure unable to cope with all those escaping the A96 by other routes.
Ha ha, a footpath. Enough places in Nairnshire where the traffic is much greater than it was thanks to the awful road conditions created by the Nairn traffic lightsAll we seem to have created is a scapegoat footpath for everyone in a responsible position to bypass the issue. Why does no one but no one want to take up the problem? Any of our councillors care to answer, and please don't say we need some sort of survey/consultancy, most Nairnites /A96 users can see the problem for themselves everyday even if you're oblivious to it in your lofty roleWe just need a Facebook page setup by the Monster Raving Nairn Get Rid of the Looney Traffic Lights Party and myself and most of Nairn will vote for them. Promise
Mmm ..... Are there not a lot of bits of Nairn without footpaths? Mill Road? Achareidh A96? Moss-side? Tradespark Rd?Priority assessment?
Did they not notice the lack of a footpath when they bought their houses.
Come stand at Clephanton junction at 8am , 5pm Drew.
If as it has been suggested that the problem is at least partly due to the Househill area being used as an alternative to travelling through Nairn then may I invite Drew to come to Nairn and stand beside the A96. I'm sure a lot of Nairn residents would turn out to meet him and tell him about the problems we face with the A96 and the traffic lights. Resolve this issue and Househill residents might well see a reduction in traffic?

What is the problem? A group of houses sited outside the boundary of the town of Nairn. Nothing unusual here. There is hundreds of thousands (I'm sure) of examples of pockets of houses being sited out with an urban area all over the UK.Why is Houshill so special as well. Is it because it's a group of houses. Do groups get special priority over single houses outside an urban area?
