Roll up Water Lane planning students - more reading material

In a week where the controversial Water Lane planning application dominated the front page of our local newspaper the Gurn is delighted to be able to bring you a copy of an objection to the town houses over development plan from one of the residents of Water Lane.
Put the kettle on, make a cup of tea and then set down to read this 13 page objection complete with a comprehensive set of pictures taken in the lane that demonstrate how people's lives will be affected. Here it is (a PDF document). Happy reading gurnites.

Good luck with your objection..!

This is not a criticisim however your objection reads like a risk assesment..

Thats not a bad thing nowadays as it can highlight unplanned issues.

Lets face it water lane was never designed to carry modern traffic and should'nt for obvious reasons, so therefore any planning should not include provision for any..!

Daylight & privacy..?

Daylight is a contensious subject but not a dealbreaker.

Privacy - does'nt look like anyone down water lane can sensibly credit themselves with that.!

I think personally you really have a planning application for over-devolopment going on here.

Usual crap designs with max profits before realism.

As the landowner obviously will develop this plot eventually, take a hand in the say of what should be allowed - like two one storey two bed cottages and get the best deal you can.

Sowing the seed of thought to planners is always another way of showing what is planned is not anywhere near appropriate..!

Best of luck
Im confident that this will get refused anyway..!
