Like everyone else who knew Bill I am shocked at his sudden demise. I saw him fairly recently on his usual walk along the riverside, exercising a dog. He was an expert in the field of blind dog training and a thoroughly nice man as well. My Sincere condolences to his family, I will miss his friendly smile and chat - a real loss to the whole community.

This is very sad news indeed. I knew Bill from his school days and I hadn't seen him again until I had a catch up with him in Inverness about four years ago. A gentleman - he will be missed by so many.
