I wonder what they are going to do with the equipment stored there? but not adversed to Suitable development to blend in with Viewfield but not encroach into green area.

I bet NICE will want to turn it into a themed wine bar or an organic artisan bakers selling Christmas goods to match the Green tree

is this council owned property?
if so,why are they allowed to sell it? I bet,if it is council property it,ll go cheap

Shouldn't any money raised be used in Nairn?

Leasing not selling. Slightly short sighted perhaps. Shame the common good fund or similar couldn't be used to do up and holiday let it for a higher long term return.

WHAT BETTER A PLACE

Ideal place for the children's nursery.
Safer in all respects and could have out door play area.{even trees for them to climb} I would say comparing cost of conversion of the the Rosebank this would win hands down.
But the thought of children playing safely in VIEWFIELD will bring gasps of horror

Nairn has always seemed to me a dowdy little town but with so much potential going for it so I fancy rattling a few cages & plan to lease the building & open it as a museum of erotica, over the many years I have walked this earth I have collected many objects of exotica on my travels which I think would be of interest to the good folk of the town of which I would like to share & would help take their minds of traffic bypasses, Lidl store plans, etc etc, PS I would offer a discount to those showing on entry their Gurn from Nurn membership cards, should I gice it a go ?

Childrens nursery here would be my bet. It is presently storage for the sports club and THC - it's a great central location , away from the main road, ideal for development for the children's nursery. Safe drop off also away from the main road. Even with additional building it would be cheaper and safer thatn their proposed site!

A museum of Erotica in Nairn what a great idea instead of Brighton of The North, it could be changed now to Amsterdam of The North & me being a paid up member of The Gurn from Nurn membership club I would get a discount I just canna wait, mind you I blush easily!

Well said Murd, this time you've hit the nail right on the head, that idea hadn't crosed my mind.

Amsterdam of the north, hmm well we did have a hoose of ill repute doon the fishertoon... so why not eh...

Mind if it turned into a nursery that would make that bit of road affy busy so best get another set of traffic lights there onto the A96.

Revert the Old Social Work Buildings back to housing for family's??
Don't people realize with the upgrades at the harbour and all the ships that will be visiting. A ships chandler will be more of a priority they will need supply's.
So lets get things in the right order.
