Hamish has a question re the East Beach ecohouse

Hamish Dunbar sends his greetings to Gurnshire and wishes us all the best for 2015. Hamish had been browsing the images of the ecohouse and was prompted to ask our readership:
"For many years between WW1 and WW2 a local man whose name was Malcolm lived permanently in a structure very similar the this one. It was sited near to the beach and the quarries along the Lochloy Road. His son known to all as 'Young Malcolm' lived for most of the winter months in the lodging house in Wilson Street. Anyone remember them?"
