"FIVE youngsters were praised by the police yesterday after alerting emergency services to a walker who suffered severe breathing difficulties in Culbin Forest. Their prompt actions led to the 54-year-old man, who is from Nairn but has not been named, being airlifted for treatment at Raigmore Hospital. "There's no doubt the swift actions of these youngsters could have saved this man's life," a Northern Constabulary spokesman said."

Jeez, that must be a slow news feed. Some decent kids help an ill chap in 2006...........and it take until 2012 to get out on the Provost's twitter.....
Or is there some 'subtle as a flying mallet' attempt to associate open vehicular access from Kingsteps to Culbin with the event?

Obviously some of our elected representatives wish to ensure that there is ample car parking for people visiting Culbin, which is why I now they'll be paying really close attention to any future plans by the caravan park to extend out towards the existing east beach car park....
