The Council books up a number of white linings so that it doesn't cost taxpayers a wee fortune each time for a single job. Do gurners not know what the poles and lights mean? Perhaps Council should have a big sign as well? Half full or half empty???

Was under the impression that it was all part of the reinstatement gig after the gas pipe job anon. May have been wrong of course.

It seems that people don't know what it is without the zebra as I waited 10 minutes there the other day to cross and cars just didn't stop! Hope they get it sorted soon.

Well i for one have still been stopping for people wanting to cross, after all the zebra markings don't make the crossing as they can fade and wear away over time.

Part of the Councils economy drive? Also white lines urgently needed at Lochloy Road/A96 Junction - perhaps a job lot could be arranged?
