Gurn's Christmas holidays

The Gurn will be winding down this week for an extended Christmas break and will return mid January. Unfortunately the Gurnmeister has too many projects piling up and has to pay full attention to a few pressing matters. It is great fun editing the Gurn but it can be time consuming and thus a wee break is necessary. In the meantime you may get some topical debate over at Brian's or even Bill's blog (if he sorts out what is making his blog so slow). If you get withdrawals you should be aware that you too could easily become the next Nairnshire blogosphere sensation if you wish, it is soooooooo easy to create a blog on the blogspot service.
So have a good one folks and see you in January sometime.
Cheers.
Nollaig chridheil dhuibh uile agus bliadhna mhath ùr nuair a thig e
(as they say in the other language) :-)

A rather premature compliments of the season to you too :)

PS/ I've finally decided what to do about my slow blog-loading problems; I hope to roll-out the changes in my other (Spanish) blog first in the next few days; once that is working correctly I'll get started on the main blog.

Happy holidays to you and family! We will miss the news from Nairn. Looking forward to the return of the GURN. We will be visiting the southern-most state for a couple of weeks, returning mid January. From the upper left hand corner, Mele Kalikimaka and Haoli Makahiki Hou.

The Gurn team put in a lot of hard work to bring us Nairns best blog and in my humble opinion it provides me with a lot more than a certain local publication for which I have to find forty pennies each week. A very big thank you to the Gurners who bring so much for the simple return of a mouse click. Enjoy your holidays and we hope to see the pages updated soon

Compliments of the season to all at Gurn Towers.

Thanks for all your efforts, they're certainly well appreciated by this nairnac and I look forward to much more interactive gurning in 2009.

I still can't help but wonder what these enormous projects could be that the Gurnmeister is plotting that will prevent him/her from Gurning through the Christmas season - could they involve a bypass, supermarket or maybe a rendezvous with a Russian oligarch on his yacht in the med to canvas for funds.
Best of luck whatever they are.
