Visitnairn.com a public service that doesn't cost the taxpayer a penny

Visitnairn.com is an accommodation portal that promotes our town as a holiday resort. If you visit the site you will see it has an easy to use lay-out that gets the visitor to what they want in no time at all. This portal has a refreshing creative appeal and regularly brings visitors and their cash to our community. A fantastic public service and it doesn’t cost the taxpayers a penny, no need to fork out a heavy salary and siphon off loads of council tax dosh for a public funded pension plan here, visitnairn.com is a private venture! A highlight of the site is the webcam looking onto the links.
It was set up by Iain Fairweather five years ago and has gone from strength to strength. Full marks to Iain for what he has achieved so far and the fact that he has attracted advertisers speaks for itself - when people quit the dead tree journals to advertise on-line they are very careful about where they go.
He told the Gurn: ‘My aim is to simply promote Nairn and I hope the site shows the town in a good light.’ Good luck with visitnairn.com and your other net ventures Iain and the Gurn will be reporting new developments on your site as and when they happen.
