Epicurus lives on

Epicurus is still closing next week but then flitting to the other side of Leopold Street and into the premises left vacant by Bikes and Buggies. The business will be under new management but the present proprietress will be in situ for a short while. Good news for Nairn High Street.

That is very good news and from what I remember the new shop has a slightly larger floor area which will maybe equate to more stock and room for more than two folk in the shop at once :-)

indeed good news as it was the only shop i could get stem ginger in. the other two stores did not have it. i wish them all the best with it.

Great news! We need good little "foodie" shops who specialize in quality and unusual foods - lovely varieties of cheeses, pates, "black" German ham - a great little treasure trove for finding Scottish (and from elsewhere too) foods to send abroad as presents!
A great place also for tourists to sample our great Scottish produce!
Keep it up and good luck with the new shop!
