The concert

Our internet monitoring unit has been busy at the weekend searching for snippets of information out there from the Westlife gig. Here's a video if you missed the show:
Might be handy for the fan who made it there but still missed it 'what a waste' as she says herself.

I with my 11 year daughter (honestly ! ) went to the Westlife gig on Sat night, and i would like to applaud the organisers for making it a well organised and safe event.
I was a bit concerned to start with about this being the first event for the Cawdor estate's, but they more than handled the 12,000 strong crowd with plenty security and road marshalls.... it has been proposed that this event shall put on 2 more concerts each year for the next 5 years attracting the cream of entertainment ( it is rumoured that nexts years event will include Briam Adams and Michael Buble)
It felt great only having to travel 4 miles rather than the normal slog to Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen.... so i am hoping that this might be the start of regular big gigs in the highlands of Scotland ...... a pat on the back for the Cawdors.

I went with the wife and when i suggested we go on our push bikes she was a bit dubious,It took us about twenty minutes to get there, when we got to Brackla and there was a long line off traffic waiting to get into the carpark area. The wife said"it was good idea to take the bikes and she had felt quite smug cycling past all the people in the queue".People we meet inside said the wished they had thought of biking it.We had no problem getting home i had my hi-vis vest and bike lights, and saved 8 quid in parking charges.

we hired a chopper from HG in Nairn to get there, missed all the queues and were back home two minutes after the boys finished their set
