We'll cross that bridge when we come to it!


There's been coverage in the media recently of the problems facing a couple of bridges across the River Nairn. Here's two images taken at another Nairnshire bridge which crosses the Findhorn, the authorities obviously have the difficulties here under control with single file traffic controlled by traffic lights. There has been ongoing work on the bridge for some time now and this is the first time this observer has been out that road for a couple of months, it does look alarming to an observer without an engineering background however. Let's hope it's sorted soon.
The pictures were taken at the A939 crossing of the Findhorn just before you go up the brae to Ferness. Images will enlarge and more can be seen here.
