Highland Council 90K water cooler bill

'It cost the local authority £91,772 between 1st July, 2009, and 30th June this year to rent or buy coolers and keep them filled, cleaned and maintained. Over the past three years the outlay has totalled £290,000.'

We have this new fangled thing called a cold water tap which we turn on when we want a drink

Downside is we don't all gather round it for a 'water cooler' moment and gossip

yea whats wrong with the tap water. or they can buy their own just like the rest of us. how about cutting this out and perhaps save us some money.
