Three lorries in crash at Pig Street Junction on A96

One of the lorries being removed this evening.
Heavy A96 traffic is diverted through Tradespark and Cranloch
A serious accident on the A96 in the Tradespark area earlier this afternoon. The Gurn understands that a lorry carrying timber heading west out of Nairn on the A96 close to or on the camber at the bend next to Pig Street hit a lorry coming from the other direction and a third lorry then became part of the accident scene. Two people were taken to hospital.
The Gurn further understands that Bear workers attending the scene had to come from Keith.
