The pilgrims are on their way to Nairn

The Guardian has a video on its website. At the moment Google offers 182 news stories connected with Tilda's 'pilgrimage' and no doubt Nairn will get a mention in all of them. For two years running Tilda Swinton's festival has been attracting massive publicity for the area.

Are Mark and Tilda entering the Tug-o-War at the Games this year - they'll walk it after all that training.

Anybody got ideas for Tilda and Co for their next movie fest?

How about the Maggot as a drive-in cinema for the 8 and a half days leading up to the 2010 Nairn Games? Or even the farmers' showfields (the Auldearn one or the Nairn one).

The town centre of dreams
Tilda buys up the Nairn Somerfield store and adjacent land and opens a multiplex cinema. It only shows obscure black and white films that no one has heard of, and serves up bizarre ice creams the recipes for which were created by Heston Blumenthal.
There is free entry for anyone who looks remotely normal.
The cinema will run for eight and half years when the site will revert to how it is today, and Nairn will once again have a run down town centre
