This morning in Nairn (02/07/15)

It's the start of Scams Awareness Week at the Nairn CAB - free candyfloss and cake between 11am and 3 pm. Details here.

Sometime between 11.30 am and 1 pm a team of charity rowers from Bournemouth are due in Nairn harbour. They are now well into their 100 day row around the coast of Britain in an Australian surf boat in an effort to raise £100,000 for the Wessex Cancer Trust and the Royal Marines Charitable Trust. Details of their project here.

BBC Traffic Scotland Reports: "Temporary traffic lights removed and sewer collapse repaired on #A96 Academy Street in both directions at Albert Street."

Three very interesting pictures from Nairn High Street on a day in August 1969 have been posted on a Flickr account here.
