Police appeal for information as part of an ongoing enquiry in relation to a theft on Mill Road, Nairn

As part of ongoing enquries, police are appealing for information in relation to a theft on Mill Road, Nairn.

Between 16:00 hours, Saturday 08 March 2014 and 15:00 hours Sunday 09 March 2014, 20-24 black metal interlocking track plates were stolen from a yellow storage rack which was situated on the path near to the bridge on Mill Road, Nairn. The track plates had been used by workmen recently working in the area to cover road excavations.

The track plates each measure 60 x 20 cm and a large vehicle would have been required to remove them.
