Nairn 2 Turriff 2

County's first equaliser begins its journey into the net. A dramatic end to the game as Turiff scored in injury time only to see their potential three points melt away to one as County also found the net in the dying seconds. The only problem is Forres go three points clear above us at the top of the table as they hammered Cove 5-1. More later

UPDATE: pictures from Donald Matheson, club photographer. Individual pictures here. Match report here.

Great pics from Donald and The Gurn. I look forward to them after every game. Noticed the two press photographers on Saturday with their long lenses sitting at the half-way line capturing the action. Long gone are the days when they had to park themselves behind the goals in the hope they might snatch a goal going in. It's a delight to go to Station Park these days. Stay away fans don't know what they are missing. Happy in the end with a point on Saturday but it's a game Nairn should have won. Too often they lacked a telling pass in the final quarter. We could bemoan some questionable offsides. But if Nairn aspire to be title winners they have to learn to overome teams like Turriff and Selkirk who set out their stall and were very difficult to break down.
