Pilot scheme for Arthritis Care Scotland launched in Nairn

Arthritis Care published a commentary on their twitter page last night from the launch of their new pilot project (picture will enlarge). Instead of having to travel to Dingwall local arthritis sufferers will be receiving treatment in Nairn hospital which will include enhanced physiotherapy and assessment prior to a physical fitness programme, occupational therapy, minor aids, acupuncture and other community led support.
The local branch were encouraged by Alistair Noble and then worked with Dr Adrian Baker and others in the health service to bring about the new regime. Well done all concerned.
