The Gurn understands that some Save Nairn Swimming Pool campaigners wish to exercise their right to speak in the public part of the Nairnshire Ward Forum on the 28th of this month at 7.00 p.m. in the Court House. The Highland Counci's website states:
'Use our online form to submit questions for consideration (even if you cannot attend). Questions should ideally be lodged at least three days before the Ward Forum takes place, to allow a full response to be given.'
The only difficulty that might arise is that those in Nairnshire and beyond who have an interest in this issue might turn up in such large numbers that a larger venue might be necessary. The Facebook campaign group now numbers 1,229 campaigners and plenty others that don't make such regular use of the net are talking about the pool too! Looks like the 28th could be a bring a banner night!
