''Seatscape" goes ahead without any problems

Thanks to Nairni49 for this picture of the new seats on the West Pier.

This isn't good enough. I know the temperature allowing for wind chill from that northerly gale was below zero, but you should have asked some hardy locals to fill those seats up, and pretend it was a warm day on the West Pier.

Otherwise, potential tourists won't believe how sunny and pleasant it was in Nairn this week........

I know my comments will be met with a great deal of hostility from those with vested interests in this project, but to be honest I can't see much of a difference.

Perhaps the position of the new seats will allow a few more people to walk on the pier, and they are a very nice shade of green, but beyond that I'm scratching my head as to why so much money was spent on Seatscape.

I wish the High Street project more success with their scape project

What's the price of a seat these days?.Maybe they should have gone to "Seatsavers".I believe the leather cushioned option was considerably more expensive,as was the tilt & turn option. So just take a seat and chill out.

I reckon we should just be very glad that we didn't get sofas

We all know the havoc that cushions can play at this time of year
